Training Manager

REPL Group has an exciting opportunity for a Training Manager to join our growing German Consulting practice. You will be assigned to a key REPL client, a major global fuel retailer, and support the training lead in delivering a complex change and training programme comprising 2000 sites. You will be part of a group of trainers and design and deliver impactful training to support the successful adoption of a new store operations system and its associated business processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Change & Training Lead in the successful delivery of the training strategy and plan across all 2000 sites 
  • Manage the creation of all training material, including eLearning, reference guides and supporting job aids
  • Manage all training logistics and applicable budgets, working closely with the Change & Training Lead to maintain continuous alignment throughout the programme
  • Act as the first point of contact for all training and development requirements and queries within the organisation
  • Management of the end-user readiness assessment process, supporting overall achievement of business readiness criteria 
  • Monitoring of impact and continuous improvement, mitigating risk and maximising associated business benefits

What we’re looking for:

  • Native German speaker, with excellent verbal and written English
  • Ability to translate strategy and theory into executable training and outputs
  • Track record of management development through the application of varied training and development techniques
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and coaching skills with experience of delivering training both remotely and face to face
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Skilled in LMS management and content creation
  • High degree of reliability and flexibility to travel (once local restrictions allow)
  • Educated to Degree Level (or equivalent)

 It would be ideal if you had:

  • Experience of working within an IT consultancy organization
  •  Retail and Operations management experience
